Receipts – ASN Entry / Edit – Search Products Screen

This screen is accessed using the Select Products button on the ASN Entry / Edit screen.

Fields

• Add Product with …
  • When this is checked, if the text entered does not exists as a product in Coreflex, a Product will be added to Coreflex with the account prefix and text entered as the productid. The fields will be copied from the Template Product. The Product ID of the Template product is determined by the system setting Products: Productid to use as a template when creating new products. If the Template product does not exist, an error message will be displayed and the product will not be created.
    
• Check Inactive Products.
  • This will display any products with matching search criteria on the left list which are either Active or Inactive. If checked, a field will be included in the left list named Inacative and will indicate the product is Inactive.
• Expected Qty
  • This is the total quantity entered on the ASN. It is not affected by the tally or receipt quantity.  This value is also displayed on the Select Product Screen.
• Predefined Queries
  • When field is clicked, it will show a dropdown window allowing you to choose different Predefined Query Options.
• USERCAT 1 Through USERCAT 10
  • These fields are user defined fields that are set to make specific categories for products.
    • These categories can be set by clicking the Setup Tab at the top and then go to Prompts...and then hit Product Search Categories.

Buttons

• >>
  • Adds the highlighted item to the order line.
    • If the item is Inactive, it will be changed to active when it is added to the ASN line automatically.
• <<
  • Deletes the highlighted item from the order line.
• Close
  • This will Close the Search Products Screen and go back to ASN Entry/Edit Screen.
• Product Details
  • This button opens up the Products screen where you see much detailed information about the highlighted product. In the Product's screen, you can also start a search for other products to get more information.
• Product History
  • This will open up the Product History screen where you would see history records about the hightlighted product. In the Product History screen, you can also start a seartch for other products to get more history records.
• Search
  • This button when clicked would show search results; but results would vary depending on what fields have been populated for specific searches.
• Update Line.
  • Opens the Update Line Comment Screen.
    

Search Results List

• Inactive.
  • This field is only displayed if Check Inactive Products is Checked. A Yes indicates that the product is Inactive. If an Inactive item is added to the ASN, it will be made active automatically.
