Update 22 Init 23

This screen is called from the Receipts - ASN Receiving Screen by clicking Create Bins. The Feature Receiving Create Bins must be purchased to use this function.

Fields

• Create Bins - Area / Shelf
  • Area and Shelf to create the new bins in. Note that the shelf must exist. Areas and Shelves can be added using the Setup Locations screen.
  • These fields are available only when the System Setting: POs: Create/Assign Bins Mode is set to Create or Both.

Buttons

• OK
  • The operation performed depends on the System Setting: POs: Create/Assign Bins Mode.
  • Create Mode. This is usually used with receiving multiple lots for a Product on one PO to create bins on the fly for the different lots because multiple lots for a product cannot be stored in the same bin.
    • Finds the highest numerical bin in the area and shelf and creates a new numerical bin for each item displayed on the PO Receiving Screen. The Area, Shelf, and Bin are then assigned to the PO items on the screen.
    • Bins are automatically added to the Area and Shelf.
      • The Bins will be numeric counting up from one more than the highest numeric bin already in the area and shelf.
      • The Bin Location Type added is determined by the System Setting: POs: Create/Assign - Location Type to assign to the created bins. The setting defaults to PickingUnslotted.
