Printing Shipping Labels by Account and End Customer Code

Shipping Label Formats can be varied by Account and by End Customer Code.

Setup

The default Shipping Label format is setup in the System Setting: Printers Shipping Label Template.

To Setup the Shipping Label Format for an Account, change the Account Preference - Shipment: Shipping Label Print Form to the desired Shipping Label Format. Accounts that do not have this preference set will use the default Shipping Label Format (above).

If a particular End Customer for this account requires a different Label Format, Use the Setup End Customer Code screen to add the End Customer Code for the account's end customer and set the desired Label Format. Any orders for this account with the End Customer Code matching an End Customer Code entered in the Setup End Customer Code screen will use the Shipping Label Format specified for that End Customer Code. If the Shipping Label Format for the End Customer Code on the Setup End Customer Code screen is blank, the format specified in the account Preference will be used.

The Pack Multiple Screen allows the manual selection of the Shipping Label Format from a list of formats. Use the System Settings: Shipping Label Form 1-10 (Enter a Label Format in one or more of these) and Shipping Label Name 1-10 (Enter desired text to identify the format. The entries here will comprise the list displayed when the Change Format... button is clicked on the Order Print Shipping Labels screen.
