PALLET TRACKING – MAINTENANCE – UPDATE PALLET CONTENTS
Update 22 Init 12
Overview:
This
screen allows you to update various fields for a pallet including the Quantity on the Pallet.
Notes:
- When updating the pallet, always enter the Qty to Adjust first and click Enter. If not adjusting the Qty, leave the Qty to adjust at 0 then click enter. The Update button will not enable until this is done.
Fields:

Qty to Adjust
- This is the amount to add or remove from the Pallet. To remove items from the pallet, enter a negative value here. To not change the Quantity, leave this field at Zero.
- Click the Enter button after the desired value is in the field.
- Pallet ID
- Enter an updated Pallet ID as desired.
- The Prompt for this field can be changed using the System Setting Pallet Tracking: Pallet ID Name
- Vendor #
- Enter an updated Vendor # as desired.
- The Prompt for this field can be changed using the System Setting Pallet Tracking: Vendor Name
- Inbound Carrier
- Enter an updated Inbound Carrier desired.
- The Prompt for this field can be changed using the System Setting Pallet Tracking: Inbound Carrier Name
- Lot
- Enter an updated Lot as desired.
- The Prompt for this field can be changed using the System Setting Pallet Tracking: Lot Name
- Size
- Enter an updated Size as desired.
- The Prompt for this field can be changed using the System Setting Pallet Tracking: Size Name
- EXP
Date.
- Update the Expiration Date for the
Pallet Contents. Check None if there is
no expiration date, otherwise uncheck None to change the date.
- The Prompt for this field can be changed using the System Setting Pallet Tracking: Exp Date Name
- Ref
- Enter an updated Ref as desired.
- The Prompt for this field can be changed using the System Setting Pallet Tracking: Inbound Reference Name
- Ship Instructions
- Enter updated Shipo Instructions as desired.
- The Prompt for this field can be changed using the System Setting Pallet Tracking: Shipping Instructions Name
- Productid
- This field displays the Product currently on the Pallet. This field cannot be changed using this screen. Instead, use the Reclassify function on the Pallet Maintenance screen.
- Description
- Enter an updated Product Description as desired.
- The Prompt for this field can be changed using the System Setting Pallet Tracking: Description Name
- Weight
- This field is automatically calculated when the Qty to Adjust is enterred.
- Cube
- This field is automatically calculated when the Qty to Adjust is enterred.
- History Comment
- A comment may be entered here which will be placed in a Product History entry for this update.
Buttons
- Enter
- Enters the Qty to adjust. This must be clicked before the Update Button will be enabled.
- After this is clicked, the Qty To Adjust is locked. To change it, click the Reset Button.
- If the Qty to adjust is non-zero, the Weight and Cube will be recalculated based on the new Qty to Adjust.
- Reset
- Re-Enables the Qty To Adjust so that it can be changed. Click Enter after the change is made.
- Update
- Updates the Qty and/or Header fields for the pallet.
- This field will not be enabled until a Qty to Adjust is Enterred.
- OK / Cancel
- Either of these buttons close the window.
