Overview:

The RF Zone Put away is used to replenish picking locations from a pallet (or cart) that has a mixture of replenishment products on it. It is used in conjunction with the RF Receive Against PO with Pick Replenishment option.

As the operator receives product, Coreflex directs the operator to place inventory that is needed to replenish picking locations onto a pallet (the staging location). The pallet has a Coreflex area-shelf-bin location assigned to it (for example PA-A-01). As product is received, inventory is added to this location in Coreflex.

When Receiving is complete, the pallet (i.e. staging location) is physically moved to the Picking Replenishment location and the RF Zone Put away function directs the operator to scan a product on the pallet. Next it directs them to the appropriate picking bin needing replenishment.

Location and Product Setup:

• Zone Putaway is designed to move Base Units of Inventory from a Putaway Staging Location to Picking Locations in the same Putaway Zone.
• The Putaway Staging Location must have a Location Type with a Higher Move Level than the Picking Locations being replenished. The Move Level for a Location Type is defined on the Setup Locations Types Screen.
  • Note, when using mobile locations such as Pallets, the Pallet Station Location will be the Pallet and when prompted to scan the Pallet Staging Location, the Pallet License plate should be scanned.
• The Putaway Zone and Location Type for a bin is defined on the Setup Locations Screen.
• The Operator will be prompted to move the product in increments of its Packsize. The Operator may choose to enter a Partial Quantity to move into the Location.
  • The Product Packsize is defined on the Products Screen.

High Level Flow

• NOTE: As with most RF Function, pressing Enter without entering an Data will always make the Previous Screen appear.
• Inventory is received and placed in a Putaway Staging Location.
• On the RF Terminal, Logon and select Putaway from the Main Menu.
• Select Zone Putaway from the Putaway Menu and the Scan Source Location screen will appear:

• Enter or scan the Putaway Staging Location. The Scan Productid screen will appear:

• Enter or Scan either the Product Barcode or the Product ID number. The Scan Destination Location Screen will appear:

NOTE: Entry of a Product ID that is not recorded as being in the Putaway Staging Location will display an error message (Product not in Src Loc)

• The Screen will populate with the Productid, Packsize (shown in parenthesis), and Dst Loc. The Dst Loc (destination Location) is the location where the product is to be placed. After placing the product in the location, Enter or Scan the Destination Location. The Destination Location must match the one displayed on the screen. The Confirmation Screen will appear:

• Enter a 1 if you wish to move one full carton (of 3 in the example above).
  • The Inventory will be moved and the screen will change back to the Scan Product Screen allowing the next product in the Putaway staging Location to be scanned.
• Enter a 2 if you wish to specify a quantity to Move.
  • The Enter Partial Qty Screen will appear:

• Enter the desired quantity to be moved in base units. An error message is displayed ("Insuffiicient quantity in") if you enter a quantity greater than that in the Putaway Staging Location
• The Inventory will be moved and the screen will change back to the Scan Product Screen allowing the next product in the Putaway staging Location to be scanned.
• In all cases the Flow continues at the Scan Productid Screen.
