Put-Away High Level Instructions

 

The following provides high level instructions for performing a Put-Away of Received Inventory.  This may be done on an individual basis or on Work-Order (WO) basis.  Use this document to understand the flow performing the Put-Away using a Work Order.

 

1.      Create a Put-away Work Order.

 

1.1.   Go to the Purchase Orders – Put-Away Multiple Screen.

 

1.2.   Click the New Button.  A new WO will appear with a number Pre-Assigned.

 

1.3.   Query the received inventory using the drop-downs and Search Button in the Product Available section of the screen.  Highlight the first line in the resulting list.

 

1.4.   Either enter the desired destination location for the inventory the Dest Area, Shelf and Bin Drop Downs, or click the Select Dest Bins button to choose from a list locations where the product currently exists or an empty locations list.

 

1.5.   If desired, update the Qty To Move field with the quantity to be moved into the Destination Location.  This field defaults to the Qty of the item in the receiving location highlighted.

 

1.6.   Click the >> Button to create a line on the Put-away WO.  The line appears in the list on the right.  Use the << Button to remove lines entered incorrectly.

 

1.7.   Repeat the Above steps until all lines are added to the Put-away WO as desired.

 

1.8.   Click the Print button to print the Work Order.  The printed document is given to the warehouse to make the moves indicated.

 

1.8.1.      If Feature Bar-coding is active, a Barcode of the Put-away WO # will print at the top of the Sheet and the Line # and Productid on every line will also have barcodes printed allowing scanning by the RF Terminal when using the RF Move WO function.

 

1.9.   Click the Save Button to clear the Work Order from the screen.

 

1.10.  If the Moves are to be complete using the RF WO Move function, the steps below will not be required.

 

1.11.  The warehouse will make the moves indicated and mark any changes or omissions on the Printed WO and return the form to the office.

 

1.12.  In Coreflex, click the Open Button and select the Put-away WO from the list.  The Put-away WO information will appear on the screen.

 

1.13.  Adjust any of the moves per the written comments on the Printed Put-away WO using the >> and << buttons.

 

1.14.  Highlight the Move lines completed and click Move Inventory.  The inventory in Coreflex will be moved.

 

1.15.  When all lines are moved (the screen will be blank), click the Save button to clear the screen.
