How to Set Up to View Product Images

Coreflex can open product image files by clicking View Image on either the Inventory Totals screen or the Products screen.

Product Images should be kept in a folder accessible to any pc which is running the Coreflex application. Specify the folder name and path in the System Setting: Folders: Product Images Directory.

There are two methods for naming the image files:

Method 1:

Name the image file the same as the product id for the product with the image extension. For example P1000.bmp would be the image for Product 1000. The System Setting: Folders: Product Images Extension (default) should be set to the image extension (in this example .bmp).

Method 2:

Name the image file any desired name and then place the name (with extension) in the Image File Name field on the Products screen (PIMG100XD.bmp).

The two methods above can be used at the same time. When the View Image button is clicked, the Image File Name field will be checked first for a file name. If that field is blank, the file named <ProductID>.<default extension> will be displayed.
