RF RECEIVE AGAINST PO WITH PICK REPLENISHMENT
Overview:
The RF Receive Against PO with Pick Replenishment is used to receive against PO into Receiving Zones while allowing for direct replenishment of Picking Locations. It is used in conjunction with RF Zone Putaway by allowing Pallets or Carts Locations to be assigned to Receiving Locations and then moved to the Putaway Location for specific Picking Locations arranged into Picking Zones.
As the operator receives product, Coreflex directs the operator to place inventory that is needed to replenish picking locations onto a pallet (the staging location). The pallet has a Coreflex area-shelf-bin location assigned to it (for example PA-A-01) and is assigned a Physical Receiving Location (Physical Area-Shelf-Bin). As product is received, inventory is added to this location in Coreflex.
When Receiving is complete, the pallets (i.e. staging locations) are physically moved to the Picking Replenishment location and the RF Zone Put away function directs the operator to scan a product on the pallet. Next it directs them to the appropriate picking bin needing replenishment.
Setup / Requirements:
Required Features:
- RF
Location and Product Setup:
- This function is designed to receive Base Units of Inventory from a PO onto a Pallet Location assigned to a Receiving Location. Pallet Locations are defined using the Setup Locations Screen by defining the Area Type as Pallet.
- Each Receiving Location is assigned a Receiving Zone using the Setup Locations Screen in the Bin section. Receiving zones are then assigned a Putaway Zone for Replenishment using the Setup Receiving Zones Screen. One Receiving Zone should always be assigned to Over Stock and have a Pallet Assigned to it (Pallet Assignment is part of the High Level Flow below).
- A PO must be in the system and be in a status of Awaiting Receipt.
- The Operator will be prompted to receive the product in increments of its Packsize. The Operator may choose to enter a Partial Quantity to move into the Location.
- The Product Packsize is defined on the Products Screen.
