Overview

•  This screen allows Creation and Allocation of a wave of orders; you can also Print Pick Sheets from this screen.

Fields

• Allow Partial Orders Check Box. 
  • If this box is unchecked, the order will not be allocated if any of the order items are not in the inventory and available to be picked.  If it is checked, the order still goes to a status of Allocated eventhough all items in the order were not allocated..
• Maximum Orders. 
• Leave this blank or enter the maximum number of orders to be allocated in a wave of orders.
• Account #.
  • Allows filtering of the list by Customer. Select a Customer to allocate orders for or select ALL.  Click the Refresh Button to update the list.
• Ship Method.
  • Allows filtering on the list by Shipping Method.  Select a Shipping Method to allocate orders for or select ALL.  Click the Refresh Button to update the list.
• Routing Group.
  • Requires Feature Customer Routing.  Allows filtering by the Routing Group assigned to the customer.

Buttons  

• Allocate Wave
  • Clicking this button will attempt to Allocate all orders in the wave. A screen would pop up showing either a screen with details regarding the allocation or it would show the Wave Order Results screen. This can be set through the System Setting - Allocation: Wave Allocation Post Allocation Pop up.
  • Sub-Items will be created beneath the Original items indicating the quantity and location to be picked.  An item may have multiple Sub-Items if the item will be picked from multiple locations.  The status of the sub-items will be set to Allocated.
  • The Order Status will go to Allocated.
• Select All. 
  • Highlight all orders on the screen.
• Select None.
  • Removes the Highlight from all orders on the screen.
• Refresh. 
  • Refreshes the list.  Always click this after updating a field.
• Print Orders in Wave. 
  • Opens a dialog allowing the printing of the pick sheets for an order wave
• Print Master Pick Sheet. 
  • Opens a dialog allowing the printing of master pick sheets for an entire order wave.

System Settings

• Allocation: Wave Allocation Post Allocation Pop up
  • Details
    • If this is set, the Wave Order Results screen would come up after the Allocate Wave Button is clicked.
  • Stats
    • If this is set, a pop up box would come up with details on the allocation.
