This screen is used to make inventory adjustments. Information entered at the top will be recorded in the Product History for the product being adjusted. When a Product ID is selected, the center list will show the locations the product is currently in. A location may be selected by double-clicking the list or entered directly. Lot information is entered if the Lot Tracking Module is installed. Enter a positive Adjustment Qty to add inventory and a negative Adjustment Qty to remove inventory and press enter or click Adjust.

Fields

• Adjustment Type
  • Select the type of adjustment you are making.
  • Selections are populated from the Setup Adjustment Types screen.
  • Different Adjustment Types can be sent to Quickbooks against different accounts.
• Ref
  • Reference for the Adjustment. Will display on Product History screen.
• Via
  • Secondary Reference for the Adjustment. Will display on Product History screen.
• Comment
  • Comment for the Adjustment. Will display on Product History screen.
• Productid
  • Product ID to be adjusted.
• Area-Shelf-Bin
  • Location for the adjustment.
  • This can be populated by double-clicking a location in the Location list.
• Lot #
  • Requires Lot Tracking Module.
  • Lot # for the material being added. Note that you can not mix different lots for the same product in the same location.
• Expiration Date
  • Requires Lot Tracking Module.
  • Expiration Date for the material being added. Note that you can not mix different Dates for the same product in the same location.
  • If no Expiration Date is to be entered, check none.
• Cost
  • Requires Lot - Cost Tracking Module.
  • Cost of the material being added. Note that you can not mix different Costs for the same product in the same location.
• Adjustment Qty
  • Enter a positive value to add inventory in the units displayed.
  • Enter a negative value (ie -10) to remove inventory in the units displayed.
  • Press the enter key or click adjust to make the adjustment.
• Adjustment Date
  • This is the date the Adjustment will appear in Inventory History.

Buttons

• Lookup Product (...)
  • Opens a dialog which lets you search for Product IDs and select the product to Adjust.
• Update UOM
  • Updates the Unit of measure text for the location and Product Id selected.
  • This usually happens automatically.
• Adjust
  • Adjusts the selected Product ID in the selected Location by the amount entered in the Adjustment Qty field.
• Refresh
  • Refreshes the lists in the screen.
