RF (Mobile Scanner) WAVE PICKING

Overview

• This screen allows you to do bulk picking through wave of orders.
• *NOTE: As with most RF Function, pressing Enter without entering Data will make the Previous Screen appear.

• Below is the first screen which is displayed after selecting #1 Picking on the Main Menu and then  #6 Wave Picking under the Picking Menu. It will have a Wave # prompt.

• You then input or scan the Wave # from the picksheet and it would show the first order item, the location where the product was allocated, the product details, and the Qty for the product ordered. The next prompt at the bottom would be the Location Prompt.

• You then input or scan the location where the items would be picked. If you are manually entering the location; the Area, Shelf, and Bin should be separated by dashes (e.g. GEN-A-01). The Product ID prompt would then come up next.

• You then input or scan the Product ID. Make sure you have a scan code for the Product ID under the Product Scan Code screen for it to be scanned properly. What comes up next would be the Qty prompt.

• You then input the Qty (Quantity) to be picked for the order item.
• If you input the full Qty to be picked, it will complete the picking process and shows the location prompt for the next order item. If there are no more order items to be picked, it will still show the location prompt but you can exit out from there.
• If you input amount less than the full Qty to be picked, it will show the screen below:

• Enter Y or 1 to accept the qty you entered and Short-Pick the item.  You will not be prompted to pick this line again. The order line will be changed to picking complete status.

• Enter S or 2 to stop picking and exit the order.  Use this option if you want to stop picking and continue picking the order later. Picks with quantities previously entered will be recorded and will not have to be picked again. The order line currently being picked will not record any quantity entered. It will show as quantity picked 0 on the Coreflex desktop application. Later you will be able to continue picking this order with the RF.

• Enter P or 3 to pick the amount.  After picking the amount entered, you will be prompted to pick the remainder of the line. The quantity you already picked will be recorded. The line will be split (recording the picker that picked the item) and you will be prompted to pick the remaining quantity of that line.

• Enter N or 0 to go back and re-enter the quantity.

*NOTE* The ending screen for the RF Wave Pick is where is asks for the Location supposedly of the next order. If you don’t have any order items to pick anymore, scanning or inputting any location in the prompt won’t go anywhere. You can comfortably exit from there and continue the next outbound process.
