Setup / Requirements:

Required Features:

• SCAN PACK (to be able to use the Search Cartons screen)

System Settings (RF Interface):

• Prompts: Verify Sales Order Quantity Prompt
  • When enabled, the operator will be prompted to enter a quantity for the item instead of having to scan all items individually.
• Prompts: Verify Sales Order into Carton
  • When enabled, a carton will be created and the operator scan specify which items go into which shipping carton. The carton type may also be specified.

Carton Types

• Carton Types are setup on the Setup Shipping Cartons screen. Each Carton size is given a Code and then dimensions are filled in.

High Level Flow

• Orders are processed through the system normally until they get to the Picking Complete Status.  They are then ready to be RF Scan Verified.
• On the RF Terminal, Logon and select Picking from the Main Menu.
• Select Verify Order from the Picking Menu.
• A screen will appear prompting for Order. Enter an N and the next order # will be displayed automatically or enter or scan the order # to be verified. The Verification Main Screen will appear:

• From this menu you can enter a 1 to scan verify products. Cartons are selected while doing this process if the System Setting is set for scanning into Cartons.
• Enter a 2 to view the products and quantities not yet scanned for the order.
• Enter a 3 to view the Cartons scanned into so far and the qty of items within.
• Enter a 4 when all items are scanned. A screen will appear indicating the quantity scanned versus the order quantity and will not allow you to proceed until everything is scanned.
• Enter 1 to Scan products. The Scanning Screen will appear:

• You will not be able to scan any items if a carton has not been selected. Enter a C in the Product ID Prompt to access the Carton menu:

• Enter or scan the Carton Number. The Carton Number must be unique throughout the system and is usually scanned from a roll of sequential label numbers. The Screen will then prompt for the Carton Size. The value entered here must be one of the Types entered in the Setup Shipping Cartons screen. Enter the size and the Scanning screen will appear with the Carton # shown:

• Products scanned at this point will be associated with Carton #5. If the System Setting for the Qty Prompt is enabled, a QTY Prompt will appear after the product is scanned so that the quantity of the product going into this carton can be entered. If the Qty Prompt setting is disabled, a qty of 1 will be associated with the carton for the product scanned.
• Continue scanning products into the carton. If the Carton becomes full before everything for the order is scanned, enter a C to create another carton and repeat the process.
• Repeat the above process until all items have been scanned.
• When all items are scanned, hit ENTER at the productid prompt to return to the Verification main Screen. Enter a 4 For Order Complete. The Order Complete Screen will appear:

• The above screen shows what is displayed if all items were not scanned. Enter a Y to force complete the order or an N to continue scanning. To check which items have not been scanned, enter an N to go back to the main menu and enter a 2 to view the items not yet scanned.
• After scanning any remaining items per the steps above, return to the Order Complete Screen:

• Enter a Y and the order will go to a Status of Packing Complete. The Screen will prompt for the next Order to verify.
