Creating a Hold or Quarantine Bin / Location

You can create a bin that will not allow inventory to be used for allocatin of order shipments. To do this:

1) Create a locatin type with a high move level.

2) Assign that location type to the bin.

3) Ensure the Max Allocation Level on the Product Details screen is set to a location type that has a lower move level than the location type of the bin.
