Update 22 Init 19

This screen allows Unit of Measure (UOM) Classes to be entered, updated, and removed. Each Product gets a UOM CLass assigned to it. The UOM Class determines what UOM(s) (ie Eaches, Cartons,etc) the product will be kept in. Products with a UOM Class with multiple UOMs assigned it can be kept in different UOMs based on the Location Type of the inventory Location.

Important Note:

When a new UOM Class is added, you should go to the Setup Location Types screen and, for each location type in the top list, highlight the record corresponding to the new UOM Class in the bottom list (which will show Default as the Location Type) and click Change to specify the UOM to be used in that Location Type for the new UOM Class.
