- Order Import:
How Prepacks are used in the Custom Shipment Processing
- Order Import:
(EDI 940)
- The PPKCode in the order import can be derived by looking it up in the Pre-Pack table using account #, Style, Color, Size.
- Label Printing:
- A custom UCC Label Print can be added that generates carton records and labels using the relating data in the PrePack table.
- Prepack Packsize is used to determine the number of inner packs for a given order line.
- The Master Packsize imported with the Order Item is then used to determine how many inner packs are within the Master Pack. Then, the total number of cartons related to that order line can be determined as the number of master packs needed to fulfil the order line requirements.
- The records with like RefIntItemnos are assumed to be grouped together as a Pre-Pack.
- The Prepack UPC is placed in the Carton Header records.
- The Size UPC is placed in the Carton Items records
- Order Confirmation Export: (EDI 944)
- The Carton Mult-Transaction Export exports carton records based on the Cartons created by the Custom UCC Label Print.
- The Prepack UPC is in the Cartonheader record.
- The Size UPC is in the Carton Items record.
- The Weight in the Pre-Pack table is the weight of the Carton.
