Setup for Physical Pallets with Multiple Skus
If you intend to Mix Items or Product Identifiers (Productid) on a Physical Pallet, you must assign a Pallet Field to hold the Physical Pallet ID of that Physical Pallet. This field will be assigned the same value for all Logical Pallets on that Physical Pallet.
Logical Pallets are pallet records in Coreflex, each with a unique productid and quantity that are part of a Physical Pallet and are grouped together using the Physical Pallet ID Field.
To set the Physical Pallet ID field, go to the Setup – System Configuration Screen. Scroll down to the Pallet Tracking: Physical PalletID Field and change it to the desired Pallet Field. It would be best if you change the Pallet Prompt Name of the field you are using to something like “Physical Pallet Id”. Generally Pallet Field 9 (User_Defined_9) is used for the Physical Pallet Id however other pallet fields can be used. If you have a need to use a different field, please contact Coreflex Support.
If you will not ever have multiple skus on physical pallets, set the Pallet Tracking: Physical PalletID Field to Pallet #.
When pallets are Pre-Received or imported, set the Physical Pallet ID Field to the same value for all Logical Pallets on the Physical Pallet. If the Physical Pallet ID Field is left blank, the system assumes that the logical pallet is a single Physical Pallet.
