Setup Instructions for the Pallet BOL – Consolidated by Lot

Heading Address

    This is the Ship From Address selected on the Edit BOL Header screen.

    These addresses must be setup in the Accounts screen by highlighting the desired account, clicking add on the bottom of the screen, and creating one of the 5 Ship From Addresses selected in the Address Type Drop Down.

 

BOL Fields

    The BOL FIELD 1 thru 6 names are customized in the System Configuration window.  The settings are Pallet BOL Field 1 Name thru Pallet BOL Field 5 Name.

    The data for these fields is entered on the Edit BOL screen.

    The Customer Phone # field is automatically populated when the ship to address is selected on the Edit BOL Screen.  The Phone number is entered in the Telephone field when adding a new customer address on the Customers screen. 

Bill To Address

    This can either be the Account Bill to Address or the Customer Bill to Address.  This is setup in Account Preferences under Pallet BOL – Bill to Source.

    Account – The Bill To address for the Account will be used.  This is setup on the Accounts Screen by highlighting the account, clicking add on the bottom of the screen, and selecting BillTo in the Address Type Drop Down.

    Customer – The Bill To address for the Customer will be used.  This is setup on the Customers Screen by highlighting the Customer, clicking add on the bottom of the screen, and selecting Bill To in the Address Type Drop Down.

 

Ship To Address

    Customer – The Ship To address for the Customer will be used.  This is setup on the Customers Screen by highlighting the Customer, clicking add on the bottom of the screen, and selecting Ship To in the Address Type Drop Down.

Data Fields

    The Column Names for the Report are configured on the System Configuration window.  The Settings are:

    Column1

    Pallet Tracking: BOL User Defined Column 1 Name

    set to “Sales Order” in sample below.

    Column 2

    Pallet Tracking: BOL User Defined Column 2 Name

    set to “Item Number” in sample below.

    Column 3

    Pallet Tracking: BOL User Defined Column 3 Name

    set to “Cust Item #” in sample below.

    Column 4

    Pallet Tracking: BOL User Defined Column 4 Name

    set to “Lotno” in sample below.

    Column 5

    This Column name is always set the same as the Pallet Tracking: Pallet Pieces Name setting with a prefix of “Per”.

    set to Inv Weight in sample below.

    Column 6

    This Column name is always set the same as the Pallet Tracking: Pallet Pieces Name setting.

    Column 7

    Pallet Tracking: BOL User Defined Column 7 Name
